Sonoran Shades is owned and operated by Judy and Alan Munkittrick.

Our Tucson-based business started in 1994, but we both have extensive experience in the window coverings field. Alan owned a wholesale window covering and drapery hardware business in Pennsylvania for 20 years and Judy ran her own retail window covering business.

To be small, flexible and service oriented is the goal of Sonoran Shades in Tucson. We do everything ourselves from the measurement and demonstration of the numerous styles and color choices, to the installation. Since 1994, Sonoran Shades has been a top seller in Tucson of Hunter Douglas products. 75% of our business comes from referrals of satisfied customers or repeat business.
