Sonoran Shades is owned and operated by Judy and Alan Munkittrick. Our Tucson-based business started in 1994, but we both have extensive experience in the window coverings field. Alan owned a wholesale window covering business in Pennsylvania for 20 years which is still in operation today. Judy ran her own retail window covering business, while our two sons were growing up. Small, flexible and service oriented was the goal in Tucson. We do everything ourselves from the measurement and demonstration of the numerous style and color choices, to the installation. Experience and focus has paid off. Since 1994, Sonoran Shades has been a top seller in Tucson in sales of Hunter Douglas products. 75% of our business comes from referrals of satisfied customers or repeat business.
